The curtain has fallen on Motoestate 2026. On a beautiful sunny Sunday, the Cervesina Tazio Nuvolari Circuit hosted the final round of the WRS Motoestate Trophies, a day full of emotion in which all the remaining titles were awarded.
The new champions are Tommaso Pagano (300), Michele De Novellis (Promo4), Roberto Bartolomeo (Supermono), Kamml Thor (Junior Trophy), Umberto Chiarena (Sportbike), Alberto Bettella (RTK 600), Matteo Cristini (1000 Open), Matteo Sorini (1000 RTK) and Christian Massai (Italian Rookies GP). In the Guzzi Fast Endurance, the title went to Ducoli Corse.
The day opened with RTK 600 and a great three-way fight between Fabrizio Perotti, Andrea Liberini and Alberto Bettella. Perotti won race 1 ahead of a sensational Liberini, while Bettella’s third place secured him the championship. In race 2, Liberini won commandingly, ahead of Bettella and Aloisio.
In Sportbike, Umberto Chiarena won race 1, beating his teammate Canetoli and Emanuele Lovato, and clinched the title, bringing the Delmo Racing Yamaha R7 to the top for the second year running. Race 2 saw an identical podium, as did the final standings.
In 1000 Open, Matteo Cristini dominated, beating Andrea Majola. In RTK 1000, Matteo Sorini won both races ahead of Gianluca Ravera and Giorgio Zecchinati, taking race and title. In 300SS, Tommaso Pagano scored a double win, with Andrea Minelli second and Kevin De Leo third in both races. In Promo4, Massimiliano Gerina took the win, while second-placed De Novellis secured the title. Palombi also made the podium on his Promo4 debut.
In the Italian Rookies Cup, Christian Massai took the title, but the day’s celebration belonged to Matteo Negrini, who scored his first win ahead of Alessandro Tonelli and wild card Colarusso. In the MotoGuzzi Fast Endurance, Bonetti and Nari (Ducoli) won both race and title, ahead of Curinga and Rizzardi (Guaracing 88) and the Aquila 3TT.
In the MES Junior Trophy, wild card Andrea Baroni won race 1 after Kamml Thor was penalised for a jump start, with Riccardo Camperi and Leonardo Lenci completing the podium. Thor won race 2 to secure the title, ahead of Lucas Casellato and Baroni. Camperi finished second in the championship.
Motoestate 2026 is now in the books, and all eyes are already on next season.
